According to the included factory letter, this revolver was part of a single piece shipment to Henry Moyer, care of Schoverling, Daly & Gales of New York City on August 14, 1924, in 44/c caliber with a 7 1/2 inch barrel (now 4 3/4 inch), blue finish and "Not Listed" grips. Blade front and notch rear sights with the stamped Frontier legend on the left side of the barrel, two-line Hartford address on top, two-line patent dates on the frame next to the uncircled Rampant Colt, matching numbers on the frame, cylinder and grip straps and "605" on the frame and loading gate. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips with Rampant Colt imprints at the tops.
