Manufactured in 1898. The barrel has "COLT. D.A. 41" stamped on the left side and the one line Hartford address is stamped on top of the barrel. The left side of the frame has the three line patent date marking. Visible numbers match with the assembly number "387" stamped on the loading gate. The trigger guard is stamped with the Colt triangle proof on the forward left side and factory rework mark on the left rear. Fitted with checkered Rampant Colt embossed grips. Factory rework assembly number "582" are stamped on face of cylinder, under left grip on both rear grip straps trigger guard, on loading gate crane, under ejector rod housing and on barrel.

Very fine as factory refinished. The revolver retains 99% of the blue finish. The frame retains 98% plus of the case colors. The grips are very fine with a small repaired chip (right panel), some high edge wear and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
