Description:

Invented in 1890 by Catell Tribuzio of Turin, Italy, with a top-loaded internal magazine and a telescoping ring trigger assembly that collapses into itself as a safety. Manufactured without sights, with "037" on the left barrel flat, and "26" over a sideways "3" on the bottom flat and several of the small components, including the ring trigger, side plate, and magazine cover. The left side of the frame is marked "MADE IN ITALY", and the front and back of the frame are contoured to serve as the handgrip.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 90% of the blue finish, showing a gray patina on the cartridge retention springs, light handling marks and scattered spotting, and 95% of the original nickel, with a few scuffs and flakes. Mechanically needs adjustment, as the sear does not disengage on bolt closure.
