Description:

Cannon measures 9 inches long, with the breechblock secured by the metal carriage, which measures 11 by 4 1/4 by 6 inches, marked "REMEMBER THE MAINE" on each side, with "PAT. PENDING" on the left, a "USA" monogram on the backside and "W.S. HAWKER M'F'R'. DAYTON, O." on the inside. An impressive piece of Spanish-American War memorabilia.

Rating Definition:

Good, with a mixed brown and gray patina overall and a few areas of original nickel. The mechanism is missing a few components, and the wheels are a bit loose.
