This is a very nice example of a Nazi "G" date Luger pistol that was manufactured by the Mauser factory in 1935. This pistol is complete with one matching magazine and an original black 1935 dated leather holster. These early "G" Lugers were all manufactured during the early Nazi rearmament in 1935. The chamber has the "G" date with the "S/42" Mauser code on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the early "Eagle/271" proof next to the boxed "S/192" and "Eagle/63" droop wing acceptance proofs. The underside of the barrel has the serial number and bore diameter, along with the "Eagle/63" Waffenamt proof and a Eagle firing proof. It has the correct military style serial number placement with the full serial number "2453d" on the frame with "2453" on the barrel extension and barrel, with the last two digits "53" on the various small parts. It is correctly marked "Gesichert" and "Geladen" in the safety area and it has the standard fixed front and rear sight. This Luger is accompanied by one early nickel plated magazine with the aluminum base marked "2453/d/Eagle 271". This early Luger is complete with a 1935 dated black leather holster marked "CHEIN CHEN/DRESDEN/EAGLE WaA142/1935" on the back .
