Outstanding Pre-War Colt 22 Caliber Bankers Special Double Action Revolver with Original Box

Manufactured in 1934. This easily concealable design chambered in the scarce 22 long rifle. The barrel marked on the left "22 BANKERS/ SPECIAL", the two line address/patent dates on the right side and the Rampant Colt is marked on the left side of the frame. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, grip adaptor and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver medallions. Complete with original hinged lid factory box numbered to the gun.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 98% plus of the original finish with light edge wear, a cylinder drag line and minor handling/storage marks. The grips are also excellent with some minor bruises in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine. The box is fine with slight warpage on the lid, and a repaired corner and seam on the lid.
