Manufactured in 1916. The slide has the two line, two block patent dates and Hartford address markings on the left side and two line caliber marking on the right side. The trigger guard has the Colt factory triangle proof and "V" on the left side. Lanyard loop on the butt and fitted with checkered diamond pattern grips. The two-tone magazine is unmarked.

Very good. The pistol retains 30% plus original blue finish (mostly on slide) with a smooth crisp brown patina on the balance. The grips are good with some minor bruising in the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
