Manufactured in 1918, this model was the second pocket automatic Colt manufactured and another of John Browning's designs. It developed into one of Colt's most successful pistols. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line, two block 1897 and 1903 patent dates and address with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and the right side is marked " COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS". The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame. Fixed sights, blue finish including the barrel with bright chamber, two tone magazine marked "CAL. 32/COLT" on the bottom and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with the original maroon hinged lid box numbered to another gun, with the correct blue and black end label, cleaning brush and papers.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with some mild edge wear and a few minor scratches. The grips are also excellent with crisp checking. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with missing parts, and separated corners and edges.
