Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Skeet Shotgun

Manufactured in 1953. There is a red fiber optic front bead and a white mid bead on the Simmons vent rib. The choke marking is "SKEET" and the chamber is 3 inches. Mounted on a diamond pattern checkered extended walnut forearm and nicely figured pistol grip stock with a steel grip cap and a Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches.

ConditionProfessionally refinished, 97% of the high quality blue finish remains with some cycling and high edge wear along with some scattered minor handling marks. The choke marking was originally "FULL" and the safety is in the white. The replacement stock set is very good with some scattered light scratches and dings along with the recoil pad added.
