The board is mounted in 3 inch broad flat wood frame, 57 inches wide by 39 3/4 inches tall, with a gold painted border around the 48 1/2 inch by 31 inch green board. In the center is a vignette of two Winchester-armed hunters behind a dead bear in a woodland scene, which is flanked with a moose head and a mallard in flight. Over 100 cartridges, bullets and primer tins are arranged in the "Double W" pattern. Marked "FORBES CO. BOSTON" in the lower right hand corner, with a paper label on the back reading "PRESENTED WITH COMPLIMENTS/of the/WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS Co/ PLEASE HANG IN A PROMINENT PLACE".

The board is excellent, showing a few minor handling marks, along with the entire compliment of cartridges, shells, caps, and bullets. Image quality is high throughout, with the central vignette in particular being good. The frame has been professionally refurbished.
