Manufactured from 1912 to 1935 this is an example of a Type III or Model 4 Derringer. The top of the barrel rib has the one line Remington-UMC address. It has a manual extractor and checkered grips. The barrels are numbered to the gun. The correct factory type box has an end label numbered to another gun.

Very fine. The pistol retains 85% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are excellent with a small chip missing from the left panel and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine. The box is very good showing wear along the edges.
