Description:

Inverted "V" front and 3-leaf folding rear sights, with "1870" on the upper right flat of the receiver, "BG Mod 62" on the left side, and "Loemmerda FvD" on the upper left. "Crown/gothic letter" proofs are present on multiple components, including the barrel and bolt. Smooth straight wrist stock, with brass barrel bands and trigger guard, sling swivels, and a smooth brass buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing mild handling marks and spotting overall. Stock is also very fine with dings and scuffs. Mechanically fine. You will look a long time to find a better example of one of these!
