Patterned after the Mauser 1896 Broomhandle and enlarged to handle the American 45 ACP round, pistols in this style were popular with both Nationalist and Communist forces during the Second World War. Blade front and 1000-meter rear sights, with Chinese markings on either side of the frame, matching external numbers, small ring hammer, and a ribbed grip.
