Description:

This is a very fine example of a DWM Model 1908 Military Luger pistol manufactured by the DWM factory in 1913. These 1908 Model Lugers are easily to identify as they all lack the stock lug. Dated "1913" over the chamber area and it has the standard DWM logo on the front toggle assembly. The right side of the barrel extension has the standard Crown over Gothic letter proofs followed by the Imperial eagle. The Imperial eagle is also marked on the upper right of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. The matching serial number is marked on the left side of the barrel extension, front of the frame and underside of the barrel. The underside of the barrel is also marked with the bore diameter "8,83". The partial serial number "18" is marked on the various small parts. The front strap is marked "B7R". Fixed sights, straw colored small parts, nickel plated magazine with the wooden base that is numbered to the gun and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear. With the exception of the takedown lever, the small parts retain 60% of the original straw color. The grips are fine with some minor wear and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
