This is an example of a WWII pistol as manufactured at the Fabrique Nationale factory in Herstal prior to the Nazi's taking over the FN factory plant. The left side of the slide has the two line FN/Herstal markings with various Belgium proof marks below the markings. The right side of the frame slide and chamber area have the matching stacked serial numbers, with the additional FN factory firing proofs on the chamber area of the barrel. It has the standard fixed front blade sight and tangent rear graduated from 50 to 500 meters. The back strap is cut for a shoulder stock and the pistol is fitted with checkered walnut grips. This pistol is complete with one original FN marked, phosphate finished magazine with the blue base plate. This early pistol is complete with the flat walnut board stock that has the original leather holster still attached to the board stock with three brass rivets. The holster is unmarked and so is the attaching iron and the walnut board stock is stamped with the serial number "14310" on the right front side of the stock.

Excellent with 97% of the original blue finish with edge and high spot wear overall. Thinning and minor scratches on the grip straps. The leather holster and stock are both very fine overall. The walnut stock showing numerous light scratches and pressure dents on the exposed surfaces. Mechanically excellent. While the leather holster also shows numerous scuffs and minor scratches on the surface of the leather with tight intact stitching overall.
