Manufactured in June of 1942 with the barrel marked "R A/flaming bomb/6- 42". The bolt is marked with an "R" on the various parts and has a curved bolt knob. There is an Air Service style 25 round magazine riveted to the trigger guard. Mounted on a smooth walnut straight grip stock with a boxed "F.J.A." cartouche on the left wrist, two reinforcing bolts, a circled "P" proof on the bottom of the wrist, a boxed "P" proof on the bottom of the wrist, a boxed "C-S.A.A." cartouche on the right wrist and a smooth steel buttplate. With an unmarked leather claw sling, a Springfield Armory Model 1905 bayonet dated 1909 and a fiberglass scabbard marked "USN/MK I".

Fine as arsenal refurbished and assembled, 97% of the dark green parkerized finish remains with some scattered scratches and high edge wear. The magazine appears original with 90% plus of the black parkerized finish with some edge wear, scratches and freckling. The stock is good as sanded with scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The sling is good, the bayonet is good as parkerized and the scabbard is very good.
