Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with "byf/1" in a shield stamped on the rear of the barrel, "byf/44" on the receiver ring and "Mod. 98" on the left receiver wall. Smooth pistol grip stock, with "WaA135" stamp on the right side of the buttstock, brown leather sling and a "gqm/44" marked cupped buttplate.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina and scattered handling marks. The stock is also very fine with some dents and scuffs. The sling shows minor cracking and stains. Mechanically excellent.
