Manufactured in 1946. There is a four row vented heatshield/bayonet lug marked with a "W" attached to the barrel. Choked cylinder, 2 3/4 inch chamber and flaming bomb stamped in front of the "W/P" proofmark. Underneath the ejection port on the right side of the receiver is stamped "U.S. (flaming bomb)". Round grooved forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. With a leather claw sling, Remington Model 1917 bayonet dated 1917 and a green leather scabbard.
