Dated 1937 on the chamber, with the "S/42" code on the toggle. "Droop wing eagle/63" proofs on the extension and barrel, with eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Bottom of the barrel marked "8,84", and "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor, respectively. Matching visible numbers, including "91" on most small components, blue magazine with aluminum base numbered to gun, and fitted with checkered grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish with loss at the muzzle, some high edge wear and some minor thinning. The grips are very fine with some scattered minor blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
