Manufactured in 1952. The left rear of the barrel is marked "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN./--U.S. OF AMERICA--" followed by "-WINCHESTER-/--TRADE MARK--" followed by "MODEL 62A-/22 S. L. OR L.R." and the Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang and bottom of the receiver. Blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, 17 groove forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a checkered factory plastic buttplate. The Winchester picture box is numbered to the gun.
