Manufactured in 1951 during the latter part of the Transition period (late 1945-51). Ramp front sight with provisions for a hood, Williams filler block in the rear dovetail sight slot and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Late safety, polished bolt (numbered to another gun) and straight receiver tang. The multi-point checkered stock has a raised comb, sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% plus original blue finish showing a few minor handling marks. The forearm screw is missing. The stock is also excellent with a few scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
