Manufactured in the 1890s these pistols featured a rebated barrel with a band of floral engraving, removable side plate with a checkered pattern around the edge. "CHICAGO FIRE ARMS CO. CHICAGO, ILL" is marked on the side plate and the frame is missing the insert marked with the patent dates. There is a checkered pattern around the outer edge of one panel and a floral leaf design engraving on the other. Matching numbers (2386) on frame and side plate with the cylinder having the number "2814". The side plates are pearl and the plunger is fitted with a checkered hard rubber grip.
