Description:

Working on similar mechanical principles to the gravity knife, this knife measures 12 inches long when "closed", with 6 3/4 inches of exposed blade, and "opens" to an overall length of 15 3/8 inches, showing the full 10 1/4 inch blade, marked "VONDERSCHMIDT" on the left. Nickel finished hilt, with "D.R.G.M." on the left side of the guard, a thumb release for the blade, and a small shield plaque on the stag grip. With a brown leather sheath, fitted with a nickel finished tip.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with a mixed brown and gray patina forming on the blade, a few tiny cracks in the grips, a cut through the backside of the sheath, mild scuffs and cracks on the leather, and mild handling marks overall.
