When open the knife measures 19 1/2 inches long with a 9 inch spear point blade, unmarked with a heavy spring loaded spine lock. The main body is steel, with an engraved German silver facade on the dual quillon guard and pommel, flanking a set of pin-secured 5 3/4 inch long ivory panels with carved decorative ribbing.

Fine overall, with an aged gray patina and minor spotting on the blade, a few thin cracks on the German silver, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are very good, with a few tiny cracks and chips concentrated around the pins, fine color and nice grain.
