Manufactured in 1955 with standard featherweight length barrel chambered for the rare .358 Winchester, a caliber that Winchester offered from 1955 to 1958. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Hooded ramp front sight, adjustable folding leaf rear sight and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Late safety, straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun and sling swivels. The checkered straight comb pistol grip stock is fitted with a checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 97% plus original blue finish showing slight loss at the muzzle and some high edge wear. The refinished stock is very fine with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
