Engraved William Cashmore Martini Rock Rifle

Scroll engraved receiver marked "WM CASHMORE". The sleeved 30 caliber to 22 Hornet barrel has a matted top flat, fixed blade and notch sights, and marked "HIGHEST AWARDS ADELAIDE MELBOURNE LAUNCESTON & HOBART" on the left side and "WM CASHMORE MAKER BIRMINGHAM" on right side. Nicely figured and checkered straight grip stock with horn forend tip and metal buttplate with compartment.

ConditionVery fine as professionally refurbished and altered (see above). The rifle retains 97% of the blue finish showing some minor flaking on the receiver and breechblock and some minor thinning with some pitting on the buttplate. The wood is fine with a large chip missing from the forearm (left side near receiver), a few minor handling marks and a few blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
