The barrel has a sling swivel band and there is a quarter rib with integral scope bases attached to the barrel. This rifle operates similar to a Thompson Center Contender or Encore. There is a cocking/decocking lever on the right side of the receiver and the hammer does not have a spur. The left side of the barrel is engraved "257 WBY". Mounted on a beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with steel grip cap and red Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The included factory brochure lays out the standard features and additional options such as the case color action available on the Model 11 custom rifle. Each rifle is "carefully built" to a client's desires. The rifles are mounted on hand shaped and hand rubbed oil finished stocks. These highly dependable rifles were "designed and developed from the ground up to be reliable, accurate, balanced and beautiful, and most of all, to be used!" Near new, original matte blue finish remains on the barrel with a cycling scratch/wear line on the left side of the barrel under the caliber marking. The receiver and break lever/trigger guard retain 99% plus of the original bright case colors. The grip cap retains 99% of the slightly faded case colors. The wood is also excellent with only a few light handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent.
