Description:

Manufactured in 1892. The top flat of the number 1 barrel is marked the two line address/patent marking on the upper left flat head of the rear sight with "32 W.C.F." at the breech and is fitted with a blade front sight and elevation buckhorn rear sight. Winchester oval proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The lower tang has the patent date and the serial number. Straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate and forearm with an ebony tip inlay.

Rating Definition:

Good with factory replacement barrel. The barrel retains 70% faded original blue finish showing some thinning to a gray. The remaining metal surfaces have a mottled gray patina with traces of original case colors on the breech block. There is some very scattered light pitting. The reoiled wood is very good with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
