Marked as a Deringer pistol, but with features seen on Slotter & Company pistols. Brass blade front and notch rear sight, with "DERINGER/PHILADELa" and a "P" flanked by zig zags on the breech. The Deringer mark is repeated on the lock plate, with light scroll engraving on the tang and lock, with a wavy pattern on the bolster. Checkered flat-bottomed bird's head stock with scroll and zig-zag engraved furniture and an inscription shield on top of the wrist.
