Manufactured in 1910. Lyman blade front and adjustable sporting rear sights. The upper left barrel flat is marked with the two line address and 1884 patent date ahead of the rear sight and "25-20 W.C.F." at the breech. The Winchester oval proof is marked on the top barrel flat and receiver at the breech. Three line model/maker/trade mark marking on the upper tang and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. Full length magazine tube, blue finish with casehardened hammer and lever, and mounted with a multi-point checkered fancy grain walnut forearm and deluxe straight grip checkered stock with a steel crescent buttplate.
Fine. The metal surfaces have a mix of smooth gray patina and thin original blue finish. The hammer and lever have a smooth gray patina. The wood is good with most of the original varnish remaining showing a dark area on top of the comb, flaked varnish, and some minor dents and scratches. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is fine.
