Description:

Aged nickel finished body, 7 3/4 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches long, with blackened SS badges in the upper corners and a stylized Nazi Eagle in the center. The back is covered in black cloth, with the buttonhole hook stamped with the "RZM" logo next to "M1/128", the production code of Eugen Schmidhaussler of Pforzheim, and the chain hooks fitted with 3 internal notches for length adjustment. With a blackened neck chain, 22 1/4 inches long with 23 links, alternating between "SS" runes (11) and "grinning skull" totenkopf designs (12).

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The face of the gorget shows strong original finish, with some color variations around the eagle and on the right side near the edge, some bright wear is visible on the edges of the face and the back hooks, and the cloth backing shows minimal wear. The chain is excellent, with a few small areas of exposed bronze and a deep, darkly aged finish overall.
