Description:

Measuring 38 1/2 inches overall, the etched sword is fitted with a 33 inch long, lightly curved single fuller blade, with the Pack logo above the left ricasso, a brass guard with a Nazi eagle on the right languet and oak leaves on the guard and pommel, wire wrapped celluloid grip and a silver wire accented green leather portapee with silver wire acorn. With a black enamel finished sheath and a photocopied capture certificate. Though not specified for the "Saber, German -Dress", there is a "global map" explicitly attributed to Hitler's eagle nest and a "seal, ceramic" from the Italian Embassy in Munich.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The blade shows some mild spotting, with sharpening of the tip and mild scratches. The portapee is mildly frayed, with 40% of the original gilt finish and light grip wear. The sheath is very good.
