Movable blade front and notch rear sights, with the Suhl address, Sauer trademark, and caliber markings on the left side of the slide, a "K in starburst" Prussian police proof on the left side of the triggerguard, commercial "crown/N" proofs on the frame and slide, and caliber and "SuS" monograms on the left grip. With one magazine numbered to match the pistol, a 1938 Robert Larsen police marked brown leather holster, and a Nazi-issued pistol manual dated 1938 titled "Die Pistolen 7,65mm der Polizei", a general overview of SS and Police issue sidearms including this model pistol, the Sauer 38, Walther PP/PPK, and Dreyse, complete with exploded diagrams. This exact pistol, holster and manual is pictured on page 324 in the Schiffer Publication "German War Booty" by Ltc. Thomas Johnson.

Excellent, with 98% of the bright original blue finish, showing some minor edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are excellent, with some flat spots on the checkering. The holster is excellent, with mild wear. Mechanically excellent. The manual is very good, with some fraying of the spine and mild staining and foxing along the edges of the pages.
