Standard Colt markings with pinned front sight, windage adjustable rear sight and checkered Rampant Colt medallion grips. The factory box is numbered to the gun. The Colt factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length and finish with the type of stocks not listed. The revolver was shipped to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Military Division, Boston, MA on April 26, 1941 and was part of a 58 gun shipment.

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% original blue finish showing slight loss at the muzzle and fading on the front strap. The grips are excellent showing a few minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. The box is very fine with wear at the corners.
