Manufactured in 1928 in 25-35 WCF caliber, one of the scarcer calibers for the Model 94. Pinned blade front sight, the rear sight has been removed and a filler block installed, and there is a tang mounted short range peep sight. The right rear of the barrel is marked with the two- line address, and the left rear is marked with the model, trademark, nickel steel and caliber marking. The Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Blue finish, saddle ring and stud mounted on the left side of the receiver and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.
Very good as partially refinished. The carbine retains half of the original blue finish with smooth brown and gray patina on the balance. The wood is good overall. The stock has been freshened with a coat of varnish and there is a filled hole on the underside of the stock, and overall some scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
