Description:

Manufactured in 1911. Pinned blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight graduated to 200 yards. The two line Winchester address/patent date is marked on the left side of the sixteen inch barrel ahead of the barrel band, the nickel steel/smokeless powder marking is left of the rear sight and "30 W.C.F." at the breech. The Winchester oval proof is marked on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang has the three line model, maker, patent information and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. Saddle ring and stud on the left side of the receiver and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine as partially refinished. The carbine retains 90% refinished blue finish on the barrel and magazine tube with areas thinned to a smooth plum. The receiver retains 30% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The wood is also very fine with a few minor dings and dents in the stock. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is fine.
