The cane measures 36 inches overall, with a nickel finished metal tip, an ebony shaft veneer, and a nickel finished head with 90 degree bend. The tip is fitted with a dual-prong spring steel spanner, which serves as a retention device for the tip, an extractor for spent cartridges and a tool to cock the striker. No makers marks are present. Possibly of European origin, late 19th Century.
