Description:

Produced by an unknown maker with a strong resemblance to arms produced by Noel and Gueury of Paris circa 1865, with a near-identical example pictured on page 202 of Firearms Curiosa by Winant. Fitted with a bead front and notch rear sight, both positioned on the right side, with the rear sight doubling as the retainer for the side plate. At the heart of the pistol is a six-shot turret cylinder which uses pill or tube-based fulminate ignition. It is fitted with a pair of smooth bag shaped grips.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The surface is a bright gray overall with dark and deep pitting. Grips are good with some chipping of the screw and escutcheons. Mechanically functions fine in double action only.
