Standard markings and features. Consignor notes state this revolver came from the Val Forgett collection and is a developmental prototype #31 (marked on the barrel lug, cylinder, and grip straps), for the 2nd generation Colt 1851 Navy, circa 1971.

Excellent 97% of the finish remains with light handling marks overall and the brass parts beginning to tarnish. Grips are excellent with a smooth finish.
