This rifle was manufactured by John Rigby & Co of London and Dublin. This rifle has a folding blade and target front sight with a rear notch sight with two folding leaves and an adjustable tang mounted peep sight. The barrel has a textured flat top. It has a break action with fine scroll engraving on the metal components aside from the barrel and the sides marked "J. Rigby & Co Dublin & London." in old English style script on banners. The break lever beneath the trigger guard and a safety is just above the trigger on the left side that automatically locks when the action is opened. The bottom of the barrel has the caliber and proofs, including the "BNP" proof first used in 1954, and multiple numerical markings. Additional English proofs are marked on the water table.The muzzle is marked "PARKER RIFLED/A.G.P." It is fitted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip buttstock with a smooth buttplate and metal grip cap. Includes a hard, brown leather case marked "T. S. ID." with red velvet interior and John Rigby & Co. label on the inside of the lid. The case is divided into multiple compartments for tools and accessories and includes a brass rod.
