One of only 800 rifles manufactured from 1866-1888. Fixed dovetail front sight with rear notch sight. Barrel marked "BEALS PATENT JUNE 28. 1864 JAN. 30 1863/ E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION N.Y." and the lower tang marked "123". Brass frame with a barrel that slides forward when lever/guard is lowered. Complete with straight grip walnut stock and brass crescent buttplate.

Very good. Some traces of the finish remain with the barrel featuring a mottled brown patina and 80% of the nickel plating remaining on the frame with some brass exposed on the lower edges with otherwise a silver patina and a brown/silver patina on the buttplate and triggerguard. The stock retains varnish on behind the wrist and have various minor marks, scrapes, a hairline crack at the wrist, and ding and a chip absent on the lower edge.
