Manufactured in 1955 (receiver). It is chambered in .358 Winchester, a caliber that Winchester offered from 1955 to 1958 to its Model 70 line. The barrel was manufactured without sights and has the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester style proof oval is marked on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. Straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun, hallow bolt knob and sling swivels. The straight grip stock features checkering and checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing the slightest handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
