Manufactured in 1961(receiver). The barrel manufactured without sights is marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory style oval proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. The floor plate is marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Jewelled bolt, follower and extractor with the bolt numbered to the gun. Late safety, hallow bolt knob, straight receiver tang and quick release sling swivels. The nicely figured high comb pistol grips stock features multi-point checkering, ebony forend cap, metal grip cap, cheekpiece and solid Winchester recoil pad.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing the slightest handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
