All parts except the rear sight are nickel plated, and the carbine is mounted with a smooth forearm and highly figured walnut straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. Quite possibly, a display gun for Hartley & Graham as they took over in 1888.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as period retailer nickel plated. The carbine retains 98% of the nickel plating some finish only missing on the hammer and inside the rolling block, some wear on the upper and lower sections of the buttplate, and some minor scratches and marks. There is some faint pitting on the muzzle and some yellow in the creases and edges. The wood is excellent with some minor scratches, dings, and dents. Mechanically excellent.
