Manufactured in 1958, this is a late production Model 62A rifle with the barrel marked "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN./--U.S. OF AMERICA--" followed by "-WINCHESTER-/--TRADE MARK--" and "MODEL 62A-/22 S. L. OR L.R." on the left below the rear sight. The Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang and bottom of the receiver. Blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, 17 groove forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a checkered Winchester plastic buttplate. Comes with the original two piece factory box numbered to the gun, original hanging tag, instructions 10 Commandments of Safety, warranty card, and receipt from Drake Hardware Company.

Excellent plus. 99% overall with some minor slide wear and some overall light handling/storage marks.
