Manufactured in Belgium in 1989, as a factory custom order, and engraved by master engraver Philippe Grifnee. Single brass bead front sight on a solid concave rib, chambered 2 3/4 inches, choked modified/improved cylinder with ejectors. The barrels are blue, with small intricate scroll engraving bordering the breach. Remaining surfaces are a polished coin finish serving to highlight the engraved action. Anson Deeley style boxlock receiver is engraved with two pheasants, a cock and a hen in a detailed field scene, with delicately engraved grasses in the foreground and trees in the back on left plate. The right plate is equally embellished with two ducks in flight, a drake in the foreground, and his mate in the back. In the far background two flocks of ducks flying in formation are visible against the polished surface. The scene is further heightened with delicately engraved marsh grasses and conifers is the far background. The underside of the receiver features a beautifully detailed engraving of a woodcock in tall grass, with a detailed and superbly textured tree limb in the background. The fences are deeply relief carved oak leaves with acorns, and gentle stippling in the low areas. Top lever is engraved and pierced, in a simple yet elegant leaf style. Mounted with nicely figured, relief carved, walnut, fluted drop point, finely checkered straight grip, bare finely checkered butt, finely checkered splinter forend with engraved push tip release, the push button itself is a brilliant fire blue. The engraving covers 80% of the receiver surface. Fire blue double triggers and checkered tang mounted safety, with gold inlayed "S" mark. Measurements: Weight - 6 pounds 9.8 ounces, length of pull - 14 1/4 inches, drop at comb - 1 3/8 inches, drop at heel - 2 3/4 inches. Complete with a Browning leather takedown hard case, with brass fittings, numbered to the gun.

Near new with 99% original finish, and only minor handling marks. Stock is excellent. Case is very good, with some wear on leather straps, and brass fittings. Mechanically superb.
