Manufactured in 1970. Hooded ramp front and adjustable leaf rear sights and French gray finish on the remaining parts. The follower and bolt assembly are polished, the extractor is jeweled, and the trigger is gold washed. The front receiver ring is engraved with a bugling elk on the right side signed "R.KOWALSKI", a moose on the left side and the remainder of the action is relief floral vine leaf and punch dot engraved. The left receiver signature is hidden by the forearm portion of the stock, but appears to be Kowalski's as well. The serial number is marked on the right rear of the receiver. The hinged floor plate is engraved with a standing bear in a mountain scene with floral leaf engraving below and on the attaching metal, and signed "LACAMPO. The trigger guard is engraved with a mountain lion with a floral leaf pattern above and below, and signed "LS". There is a two inch wedge of floral leaf engraving on the breech end of the barrel sides. The screw heads and stock bolts are also engraved with a leaf design. The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and punch dot hand carving on the forearm and grip area, contrasting forend and grip cap with a diamond shaped brass insert on the grip cap, raised comb, cheekpiece, vented Browning recoil and sling swivel studs.

Near new with 99% original finish, and only minor collector type handling marks. Stock is also excellent. Mechanically excellent.
