Description:

This is a very fine example of a WWII British STEN SMG that has been remanufactured by the ORDCO Corp of Santa Clara, CA. These STEN SMGs are a mainstay weapon in any Class III/ NFA weapon collection. They were originally designed in 1940/41 and were used by all British forces, including the OSS and SOE, throughout WWII and as a secondary weapon in many British colonies worldwide well into the 1970s. They were cheap and easy to manufacture and maintain in the field making them an excellent battle field weapon. As noted, this weapon has been assembled using a new receiver tube marked on the underside of the barrel bushing: "ORDCO Corp, of Santa Clara CA. SN.1017". It has the earlier loop style stock and original British canvas sling. An original STEN MKII bayonet is stored inside the stock. It is complete with seven (7) extra STEN stick magazines and a canvas magazine case.

Rating Definition:

Fine as remanufactured/assembled with 98% of the refinished/repainted black finish. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATF) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. Before bidding on this weapon is it the sole responsibility and obligation of the bidder to understand and comply with all the State and Federal transfer laws and restrictions that apply in their current place of residence.
