Manufactured in 1940 as part of a run of Luger pistols intended for commercial sale, which included export to occupied and neutral countries including Sweden and others. Fixed sights, with the "Kal. 7,65" etching on the left side of the barrel, "1940" on the chamber, and the Mauser banner on the front toggle link. Commercial "eagle/N" proofs are present on the chamber and breechblock and military-style serial numbering matching on all exterior components including the magazine. Fitted with straw finished small parts, gesichert/geladen safety and extractor, checkered grips and a blue finished magazine with alloy base.
