This is a new Bushmaster XM15-E2S carbine, that is similar to the original Colt M4 carbines in that they have a 16 1/2 inch barrel with a "1-9" inch twist, and non-chromed lined, for improved accuracy, that has the M203GL cut, that is fitted with a standard M16A2 style flash hider. The upper receiver has the detachable carrying handle with the Picatinny rail on top for mounting battle scopes and lasers. The barrel has the standard front sight base with the bayonet lug and fixed front sight post with an adjustable 600 meter rear sight. They have a four-position telescoping buttstock, forward assist and case deflector bump on the right side. It is fitted with the short, ribbed round forearm, and a checkered pistol grip. It is complete with one 30 round magazine, the original matching cardboard box, black nylon sling, instruction manual, chamber flag, and trigger lock.
